2-mar-2009 | Version 1.5 released Enhancements: Most of the code has been changed. The syncronizing is now much faster, and the redundant server is importing the backup from the main server when it starts up because the main service goes down. Not once every night as it was before. That means that you can schedule the export from the main server as often as you like. Now you can start/stop and install/uninstall the DHCP Redundancy service from the DHCP Redundancy Config application. You dont have to stop and start the DHCP Redundancy service to apply changes made with DHCP Redundancy application, it is applied "on the fly". The header and body of the alert emails can be changed if you want to. The problem with deleted DNS records should now been solved. |

06-Sep-2007 | Version 1.1 released Bugs fixed in this release: 1. When the second server was restarted, not only the redundancy service, and there was a backup file from the main server ready to be imported to the second server, the second server did not syncronize until the next scheduled syncronize even though the redundancy service wrote a syncronizing message in event viewer. 2. When the second server should send an alert mail but could not connect to the mailserver, the redundancy service hung until you restarted the service. New features in this release: Added the function that the redundancy service can send a mail when the main dhcp service is restored and the second is stopped. |
